THE PURPOSE

“There was an inequitable process of world-making that continues to inform who and what we are today. A process that dispossessed, that embedded a colonial distribution of power and prestige, and that codified binaries and hierarchies such as male over female, whiteness over Black, the human over the natural world, and production and consumption over existence. In other words, the process that gave rise to what we now perceive as ‘normal’ in our politics, in our economies, in our societies, in our cultures.”

Contributing to Change – The Mission

Grow the number of places and spaces practising futurist, feminist and decolonial ways of working in their operations and actions where i) innovation isn’t held back by historically-entrenched conventions, categories, hierarchies, philosophies, and epistemologies, ii) the default to conformity is questioned and overturned, and iii) where definitions of success are defined by those most affected.
